From shifting tides and sandbars to hidden rip currents, this 1-hour session reveals the key things every beachgoer should understand before stepping onto the sand.
 
Led by William Thomson FRGS, founder of Tide School, you’ll learn how to read the beach like a local — recognising danger signs, choosing safe swimming spots, and understanding how tides and currents really work. It’s the knowledge that turns uncertainty into confidence.
