My paintings are small and intimate, I hope they encourage you to lean in and look closely like you would if you were studying a strange small creature. A change in perspective might happen as you realise that you too are a strange small creature. The process of painting facilitates an unfurling of thoughts and feelings which need to be addressed in some way and the oddball creatures in my paintings are my representatives.
